Introduction
Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes is rendering
good social services to the society a part from imparting
professional and technical education to the budding youths. As a
part of it is organizing various social services activities as per
following
Free Education for Rural Area Students
As is evident
from the national statistics that 50% of the employable youths of
this country live in rural areas who are deprived of vocational
education infrastructure resulting into huge crowd of unemployed
and unharnessed resources and as such their energy need be
channelized into National main stream. Therefore, DBGroup has taken
up this pious mission of spreading education in the interiors of
Punjab and with this aim it has adopted two villages viz. Naraingarh & Saunti. Our faculty is devoting two hours daily to
provide child & adult education to the needy & poor masses free of
cost with all dedication.
Free Blood
Donation Camps
It has already held Blood donation Camps at
least twelve such camps in the preceding year and intents to
organize blood donation camps in different campus .In which many
faculty members and students have donated their blood of various
groups and their after the same are send to the blood banks.
Free Dental
Checkup Camps
Since the percentage of floride is found upto
80% I the drinking water of Muktsar area resulting into early
decaying of teeth of resident of that area, therefore Desh Bhagat
Group thought better to hold free dental checkup camps in its
Dental Hospital, where hundreds of rural and urban citizens got
their teeth checked up by the highly qualified doctors .They were
given free advice and certain medicine free of cost.
Free Eye-Checkup
Camps
Like wise the group is holding free
eye-checkup camp periodically for the benefit of poor and needy
patients. They were provided free spectacles and eye drops free of
cost.
Tree Plantation
Desh
Bhagat Group is launching mass plantation drive every year with a
view to developing and maintaining echo-friendly environment and
for this the group has adopted two villages viz. Sounti,
Narayangarh where at least 1500 saplings were planted by the
faculty member’s ad students in the presence of Village Sarpanch.
